In this talk, we will first review the classical eigen-spectral approach to studying optimal network synchronization problems, and then introduce an advanced graph-theoretical approach leading to a new type of totally homogeneous networks. Finally, we will suggest an algrabaic topology approach to measuring and quantifying the optimal network synchronizability.

at City University of Hong Kong. He was elected IEEE Fellow in 1997 and is now Life Fellow.
He is a Member of the Academia Europaea and a Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences.
